Chris Hemsworth Welcomes Ryan Reynolds and Deadpool to the Marvel/Disney Family

Thor star Chris Hemsworth welcomed fellow superhero Ryan Reynolds to Marvel Studios following Disney's acquisition of 20th Century Fox.

After Fox merged with Disney, many fans wondered if the Fox Marvel characters would survive the acquisition. When Disney released its new homepage to show off its newly acquired Fox properties, though, Reynold's Deadpool appeared alongside the likes of Rey, Captain Marvel and Elsa. Now, the Mighty Thor himself has come forward to welcome Reynolds to Marvel Studios.

Hemsworth posted the above picture of the Merc With a Mouth wearing Thor's helmet on Instagram with the caption "Our love child" and tagged Reynolds in the process. This implies Reynolds could continue to play Deadpool despite the acquisition. However, it is unclear if Deadpool will join the Marvel Cinematic Universe alongside the likes of Hemsworth's Thor.
