Now officially with a film title, star Chris Hemsworth has shared a new photo from Men in Black International, revealing his character alongside Tessa Thompson in action.
As two agents with the eponymous alien-regulating organization, Hemsworth and Thompson's characters are seen with laser guns drawn in the streets of London, presumably facing down some sort of new extraterrestrial menace.
#FBF shooting MIB with my partner in galaxy protection @TessaThompson_x when we were ripping aliens a new one. From memory, this shot was taken in between set ups when we noticed some criminal activity on the streets in London. #MIBInternational 🕶️ @MenInBlack pic.twitter.com/b89RQCcswl— Chris Hemsworth (@chrishemsworth) December 7, 2018
As the title suggests, the upcoming film will have the agency go global after the original trilogy kept the sci-fi action to the United States. In addition to London and its usual locale of New York City, filming for the film also took place earlier this year in Morocco and Italy.
Principal photography on Men in Black International concluded this past October after being fast-tracked into production at the beginning of the year by Sony in an effort to reposition the franchise to better appeal to foreign audiences.
Out in theaters on June 14, 2019, Men in Black International is directed by F. Gary Gray and stars Chris Hemsworth, Tessa Thompson, Liam Neeson, Kumail Nanjiani, Rafe Spall, Rebecca Ferguson, and Emma Thompson.
