After appearing in some of the biggest blockbusters over the last few years, including Avengers: Endgame, Chris Hemsworth is ready to take a break from Hollywood.
"This year I probably won’t shoot anything," Hemsworth said. "I just want to be at home now with my kids. They are at a very important age. They are still young and they are aware when I leave more than before."
Just this year, Hemsworth has appeared in Avengers: Endgame, and he'll also appear in Men in Black: International and a reboot of Kevin Smith’s Jay and Silent Bob. The actor has spent the last decade appearing in a variety of films, some with little breaks between shooting.
Hemsworth's wife Elsa Pataky and children India, Sasha and Tristan will undoubtedly be happy to have him back at their home in Australia for some quality time.
Directed by Joe and Anthony Russo, Avengers: Endgame stars Robert Downey Jr. as Iron Man, Chris Evans as Captain America, Mark Ruffalo as Bruce Banner, Chris Hemsworth as Thor, Scarlett Johansson as Black Widow, Jeremy Renner as Hawkeye, Brie Larson as Captain Marvel, Paul Rudd as Ant-Man, Don Cheadle as War Machine, Karen Gillan as Nebula, Danai Gurira as Okoye and Bradley Cooper as Rocket, with Gwyneth Paltrow Pepper Potts, Jon Favreau as Happy Hogan, Benedict Wong as Wong, Tessa Thompson as Valkyrie and Josh Brolin as Thanos. The film is in theaters now.
