Chris Hemsworth has posted a fight scene from his film Extractionsoon to be released on Netflix, and included a side-by-side comparison of his rehearsal for the scene. The video shows Hemsworth acting out the fight with stunt performers, effortlessly blending into the finished product.

Hemsworth praised director Sam Hargrave for the "insanely detailed fight choreography" that went into the scene.

The scene features Hemsworth's character Tyler Rake going hand to hand with a soldier in the middle of a marketplace. Rake is holding a karambit, or curved combat knife, and engages in up close and personal combat, delivering brutal blows to his opponent's abdomen. It's clear that Hargrave wants the audience to feel every hit, punch, and kick. Given that the film has an R rating, more violence can be expected from Hemsworth's Rake.

Based on the graphic novel Ciudad published in 2014, Extraction centers around Rake's mission to rescue the son of an infamous crime lord. The two form a bond as they race through the streets of India, attempting to survive the fallout of a rising turf war. The film is written by Joe Russo of Avengers: Endgame; Hargrave previously worked as a stunt coordinator for the Russos on Captain America: The Winter Soldier.

Directed by Sam Hargrave and written by Joe Russo, Extraction stars Chris Hemsworth, Rudhraksh Jaiswal, Manoj Bajpayee, Randeep Hooda, Pankaj Tripathi, Derek Luke, Marc Donato and David Harbour. It is scheduled to be released on April 24 on Netflix.
