Avengers: Endgame featured Chris Evans' last performance as Captain America/Steve Rodgers, after he portrayed the character in multiple Marvel Cinematic Universe films. Now, Evans has shared some insight into why he enjoyed working with Marvel Studios so much.

In a recent Variety interview with Endgame co-star Paul Rudd, Evans explained how Marvel provides a comfortable setting for its actors. "It feels like such a group effort," he said. "It's a real landscape of competing ideas and the best idea wins, and that's how they end up with so many good movies." Evans added that Marvel actors also feel comfortable because of how quickly they realize that they are "in good hands."

In addition to Evans, Avengers: Endgame bid farewell to Robert Downey Jr.'s Iron Man/Tony Stark. Meanwhile, many other characters featured in the film will go own to star in upcoming MCU films and TV shows, including Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of MadnessThor: Love and ThunderGuardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 and more. The next MCU film set for release is Black Widow, which will premiere on Nov. 6, 2020.

Following the events of 2018's Avengers: Infinity War, Avengers: Endgame released in 2019 and went on to become the highest-grossing film of all time, making $2.8 billion globally.
