Captain America is back on set for one last ride as reshoots begin on Avengers 4, and he's joined by some familiar faces from the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
A freshly clean-shaven Chris Evans was spotted on set in Atlanta for the final round of scheduled photography for the Infinity War sequel alongside Paul Rudd and Scarlett Johansson. The trio were filming scenes overseen by co-director Anthony Russo at the city's Landmark Diner with pictures posted on entertainment news site Just Jared.
In this year's Avengers: Infinity War, Evans sported a much different look as Captain America with longer hair and a full beard while Johansson's Black Widow had shorter, blonde hair. Both actors look closer to the characters as they appeared in 2016's Captain America: Civil War with Johansson back to her traditional red hair and Evans with his hair trimmed and clean-shaven.
While details on the upcoming MCU sequel are being kept tightly under wraps, the three returning actors were also joined by a stuntman in a motion-capture suit in a currently unknown capacity. With reshoots on the Avengers film scheduled to continue for the next several weeks, it will be interesting to see what other clues the last round of filming reveal.
Directed by Joe and Anthony Russo, Avengers 4 stars Robert Downey Jr., Chris Evans, Chris Hemsworth, Brie Larson, Mark Ruffalo, Jeremy Renner, Scarlett Johansson, Paul Bettany, Anthony Mackie, Paul Rudd, Elizabeth Olsen, Tom Holland, Benedict Cumberbatch, Chadwick Boseman, Chris Pratt, Zoe Saldana, Dave Bautista, Bradley Cooper, Vin Diesel, Karen Gillan, Evangeline Lilly, and Josh Brolin. The film is set to hit theaters on May 3, 2019.
