Following Tuesday's teaser, Netflix has released a new full-length trailer for Chilling Adventures of Sabrina. Starring Kiernan Shipka, the upcoming drama puts a horror twist on the beloved Archie Comics character.

This trailer doubles down on the dark themes and imagery seen in previous promos, and elaborates on the central premise, with Sabrina Spellman forced to choose between the magical world and the normal world upon her 16th birthday. Set to "Happy Birthday, Sweet Sixteen" by Neil Sedaka, the new footage also shows the disparity between the two worlds, contrasting the dark witchcraft present in this Sabrina reimagining with relatively lighthearted high school antics.

In addition to Sabrina herself, viewers can get a quick look at some of the characters she will interact with on the first season, including her family, her circle of friends, her boyfriend and even a few potential rivals. (We also get a quick look at fan-favorite Salem the cat!)

Additionally, horror fans will also likely notice plenty of nods  to classic films from the genre, such as Sabrina's boyfriend, Harvey Kinkle, quoting Night of the Living Dead, a seemingly possessed person tied down to a bed as in The Exorcist, and Sabrina being ensnared by roots and vines, à la The Evil Dead. In other words, it seems like the residents of Greendale are in for a rather interesting, and potentially deadly, time.

Chilling Adventures of Sabrina stars Kiernan Shipka as Sabrina Spellman, Michelle Gomez as Mary Wardwell/Madam Satan, Jaz Sinclair as Rosalind Walker, Chance Perdomo as Ambrose Spellman, Lucy Davis as Hilda Spellman, Miranda Otto as Zelda Spellman, Ross Lynch as Harvey Kinkle and Richard Coyle as Father Blackwood. The series premieres Oct. 26 on Netflix.
