Netflix's Chilling Adventures of Sabrina has officially conjured up a release date.

It was announced today during Netflix's Television Critics Association panel that Chilling Adventures of Sabrina will debut its 10-episode first season on October 26. The date gives the series the usual pre-Halloween spot usually held by Netflix's Halloween-mainstay, Stranger Things. That show, of course, has been delayed until next year in order to ensure the show delivers something "bigger and better" for Season 3.

Chilling Adventures of Sabrina is based on the comic series of the same name published by Archie Comics. The series first debuted back in 2014 from Roberto Aguirre-Sacasa and artist Robert Hack and reimagined the classic character Sabrina the Teenage Witch in a dark coming-of-age story.

The show, which is said to draw inspiration from Rosemary's Baby and The Exorcist, will focus on Sabrina's struggle to maintain her mortal and witch sides.

Netflix officially ordered the Riverdale off-shoot back in December, after the CW opted to pass on the series, committing to two seasons of the drama. And while the series was originally meant to serve as a companion series to the CW's Riverdale, however, it has since been confirmed the two will exist separately from one another.
