The showrunner for Netflix's Chilling Adventures of Sabrina shared some birthday wishes for one of the show's stars with a little behind the scenes magic. It appears Season 3 will feature Sabrina's Fright Club rocking out in a band.Ross Lynch, who plays Harvey on the Netflix series, had a birthday on Sunday, and showrunner Roberto Aguirre Sacasa wished him a happy birthday on Twitter, but fans got to celebrate too with an exclusive peek of some of our favorites. He shared an image from the upcoming season, saying, "So it’s@RossLynch birthday today, and I love this kid so damn much, and Part 3 of #Sabrinanetflix is premiering in less than a month, so here’s a BTS shot of the best garage band since the Archies! Happy b-day, Ross!!
Aguirre Sacasa is also the showrunner for the popular CW drama, Riverdale, which like Sabrina the Teenage Witch, is also set in the Archie Universe. This explains his cheeky reference to the band, The Archies, which first appeared in The Archie Show on CBS in 1968. Although The Archies are most famous for their song, "Sugar, Sugar," there's no word yet on what fans will get from the Fright Club -- or even if Sabrina will lend her talent to the band.
Sabrina and crew went through literal hell in Season 2, so maybe this is a slight indicator of better things in store for the folks in Greendale, although that might be a bit optimistic after seeing the recently released trailer. Fans know that the big bad for Season 3 will definitely give Sabrina a run for her money, but this sneak peek gives them a little hope for some fun.
