Back in July, it was announced that Netflix's Chilling Adventures of Sabrina would end after four seasons, much to the shock of fans. Despite the show's end, showrunner Roberto Aguirre-Sacasa teased that there was more to come beyond the final season.

Aguirre-Sacasa posted a video on Instagram of the Spellman house being destroyed. The caption read, "Prepare yourselves, Coven. This one is brutal. A lot of love and magic went into this witch-house. A lot of memories were made within its walls. A lot of late nights were spent here. With a lot of mosquitoes and a lot of frogs. And a lot of wonderful people all dreaming the same dark dream. (I always picture @kiernanshipka in her special chair, sleeping soundly, with her familiar Frankie guarding her.) Before shooting started, we spent many, many weeks looking for the Spellman house."

He then told the story about how the iconic set-piece came to be, writing, "In the end, our incredible production designer @lieselottesoper said: 'I think we need to build it. This has to be as iconic as the Psycho house.' And that’s what Lisa and her team made. She was there today when they knocked it down. And she saved certain things, including the house’s weathervane. (And maybe the odd wooden frog or two.) We haven’t seen the last of that weathervane."

To cap off his post, he teased the future of the series, which seems to go beyond the show. He said, "As Zelda says in Part Four: 'There is no death for witches. Only transformation.' The story of the witches of Greendale isn’t over. We still have Part Four, waiting for you, with the Eldritch terrors. And after that... Well, come closer and I’ll tell you a secret..."

There are several possibilities for what Aguirre-Sacasa's "something more" could be. One theory fans speculated was that Sabrina's story would finally continue in the Chilling Adventures of Sabrina comic that the show is based on. Beginning in 2014 under the Archie Horror label, The Chilling Adventures of Sabrina comic is written by Roberto Aguirre-Sacasa and drawn by Robert Hack. The story abruptly went on hiatus after 2017, leaving several plot threads open.

Another theory fans toyed with was that Aguirre-Sacasa was talking about the upcoming Madam Satan Archie Comics one-shot. Fans also theorized that Aguirre-Sacasa's post meant Sabrina and company could possibly make an appearance in Riverdale afterward.

Chilling Adventures of Sabrina stars Kiernan Shipka as Sabrina Spellman, Ross Lynch as Harvey Kinkle, Michelle Gomez as Mary Wardwell/Madam Satan, Jaz Sinclair as Rosalind Walker, Lachlan Watson as Theo Putnam, Gavin Leatherwood as Nicholas Scratch, Tati Gabrielle as Prudence Blackwood, Chance Perdomo as Ambrose Spellman, Lucy Davis as Hilda Spellman, Richard Coyle as Faustus Blackwood and Miranda Otto as Zelda Spellman. Parts 1-3 are now streaming on Netflix, and Part 4 is expected to arrive sometime this fall.
