Orion Pictures and the Child's Play reboot continue the marketing assault on Toy Story by having Chucky kill yet another beloved character from the Disney/Pixar franchise.The latest poster shows Chucky setting fire to Rex, melting the toy dino right down to the bone and ensuring he goes extinct. Of course, the tyrannosaurus is just Chucky's latest victim; prior to this, Chucky took out other iconic faces to build buzz and create hype around the remake of the popular '80s franchise, which just so happens to open alongside Toy Story 4 this weekend.RELATED: Child's Play: Chucky Roasts Another Toy Story Star in New Poster

The killer toy was previously depicted murdering Woody, Buzz Lightyear, Slinky and, just before this latest slaughter, he took out Mr. Potato Head.

In the reboot, Chucky (voiced by Mark Hamill) terrorizes a young boy named Andy, wreaking havoc as he also tortures the child's mother (played by Aubrey Plaza), babysitters and several more people who are all unaware of the sinister nature of the Buddi doll.

Based on characters by Don Mancini, Child's Play is written by Tyler Burton Smith and directed by Lars Klevberg. Scheduled to release on June 21, the film stars Aubrey Plaza, Mark Hamill, Brian Tyree Henry and Gabriel Bateman.
