Chewbacca has gotten quite a bit of press in the lead-up to the untitled Han Solo Star Wars Anthology Film. A couple weeks back, star Emilia Clarke showed off the fan-favorite Kashyyyk pilot in a behind-the-scenes video touting her 10 million Instagram followers. And now, director Ron Howard has taken a photo from the editing suite that offers a peek at a close-up of Chewbacca in a scene from the film. Based off a script by Lawrence and Jon Kasdan, the Han Solo spin-off stars Alden Ehrenreich as Han Solo, Donald Glover as Lando Calrissian and Joonas Suotamo as Chewbacca, in addition to Emilia Clarke, Thandie Newton, Phoebe Waller-Bridge, Michael K. Williams and Woody Harrelson. The as-yet-untitled Star Wars anthology film is scheduled to hit theaters on May 25, 2018.
