Picking up from its Season 2 finale that left the trio still without their full powers, Charmed's Season 3 will seemingly focus on how the magic of sisterhood can survive. In anticipation of The Charmed One's return, The CW released a Season 3 trailer, warning viewers that perhaps the destruction of the sisterhood is inevitable.RELATED: Charmed: Julian McMahon Is Completely Into Joining the Reboot

"The magic of sisterhood ✨ Season 3 premieres Sunday, January 24! Stream next day free only on The CW," the show's official Twitter account captioned the post.

"To restore life to the magical world requires the greatest power and the greatest sacrifice," the trailer forebodingly tells the viewer. Mel, Macy and Maggie are seen in the trailer assembling their team of allies and artifacts to help prevent the death of all magic.

However, it seems to suggest that in order to do so, the trio will ultimately have to sacrifice their power of three. We also see a glimpse of what looks like a future grave of Mel's, suggesting that time-travel might play a part in Season 3 as well.

The sneak peek also shows the trio of witches continuing to team up with Harry, their White Lighter, though, unfortunately for shippers, no update on whether or not Harry still has feelings for Macy -- or if they've been spirited away by Maggie.

At this time, there is no released synopsis for Season 3 of Charmed from The CW, though based on the above trailer, the new season looks to continue the magical trio's quest to protect magic from extinction as they seek a way to escape witchness protection once and for all.

Production on multiple shows on The CW has been shut down or delayed as a result of COVID-19. Riverdale and Batwoman were able to proceed with filming after a week delay. Most recently, The Flash stopped production due to a positive COVID-19 test.
