WARNING: The following contains major spoilers for Charmed Season 3, Episode 7, "Witch Way Out," which aired Sunday on The CW.

Charmed's latest episode finds The Charmed Ones trapped in a prison within an alternative dimension that seemingly mirrors their real-life while also wiping out their memories of the past day and how the three witches got trapped there. The only way out from this prison world is to find "glitches" -- pieces of the world that don't seem to fit, and remembering why they don't, to break through the world's artifice and restore their memories of the past 24 hours.

After Mel finds a photograph of an unknown man in her home's entryway, she recalls that he was the auditor sent from Dean Eldon to audit her class, "The Intersectionality of Inequity." Soon, Mel learns that while standing up for her beliefs in the work realm can be terrifying, the rewards for benefiting others' experiences outweighs her fears of job insecurity.

After discovering the photograph's glitch and restoring her memory of the audit, Mel regains several memories in the simulation to view. Mel sees Dean Eldon defending her decision to surprise audit Mel's class -- even though she never told Mel ahead of time, which is against their university's policy -- and her refusal to see it as a combative move for not teaching her transphobic book. Mel cites this as a "retaliation" for not teaching Eldon's book, but Eldon denies this and instead asks Mel to sign an NDA to not discuss the audit henceforth.

In response to this ask, Mel goes to the university's Speaker's Corner and lets off some steam about the situation. As a result, she insinuates that her boss is a fascist and is trying to silence her voice on campus. Mel's speech is recorded and uploaded to DirtDash-- Charmed's version of TikTok -- and quickly receives over 700,000 views from fellow students in Seattle.

After The Charmed Ones find a way out of the prison world, Mel thinks she's surely fired from her teaching position. Mel returns to campus in the disguise of dark sunglasses and with a cardboard box, thinking that she must pack up her things and leave for good. However, she's quickly greeted by her student Kevin, who jokingly calls her "Professor Viral."

Unsure of what he means, Mel asks Kevin to elaborate and he proceeds to tell her that after her speech all of her students on-campus joined forces, petitioning to save Mel's job, and force Dean Eldon to leave the school for her unethical behavior. He informs Mel that Dean Eldon is now on administrative leave and credits Mel's teaching to this end result.

At the news that it was her teaching that inspired her students and others to stick up for her, Mel is taken aback in awe. After seeing and calling herself a "hot-head," she's now found that sometimes sticking up for your beliefs and an inspire others to do so as well and create a larger ability to make positive change in the world, or at least, in Charmed's Seattle community.

Charmed stars Sarah Jeffery, Madeleine Mantock, Melonie Diaz, Rupert Evans, Jordan Donica and Poppy Drayton. New episodes air on The CW on Sundays at 9 p.m. ET/PT.
