WARNING: The following contains major spoilers for Charmed Season 3, Episode 13, "Chaos Theory," which aired Friday on The CW.

Charmed's latest episode saw The Charmed Ones finding out a disturbing truth about Abby. After she stripped Macy of her demon powers -- per Macy's request -- Abby took her powers. Abby's betrayal arrived in Season 2, Episode 12, which showed Abby absorbing Macy's pyrokinesis abilities to increase her stature in the demon world. However, Macy never knew her powers were being wielded by the chaotic Abby and used to cause destruction and death. Although Macy is furious at discovering this fact, Abby vows she'll make it right.

"Chaos Theory" finds The Charmed Ones, unfortunately, needing to prove Abby's innocence in order to free both her and Jordan from the Tomb of Chaos. Since the Perfecti last saw Abby's demon form wanting to attack The Charmed Ones and saw Jordan helping Abby -- even if it was to take away her bloodthirsty demon side -- the pair lock them away. After finding no one willing to support Abby, The Charmed Ones put themselves on trial as Abby's character witnesses to prove that there is good in her so Jordan may escape the prison realm.

The Perfecti give The Charmed Ones a magical mirror that allows them to see all the events of Abby's life. When the Perfecti take their turn at interrogating Abby, they show a memory that the magical sisters had yet to view: Abby taking Macy's demon powers and using them to frighten and kill demons who disobey her rule.RELATED: Charmed: Mel Is Left Out of a Crucial Spell

Macy is beyond shocked. When Macy confronts Abby about stealing her powers, Abby admits she always planned to steal them; however, she reminds Macy, "I warned you not to trust me."

After The Charmed Ones put Jordan on the stand, the trio convinces the court that the Tomb of Chaos itself is the real chaos, as it doesn't allow inhabitants the chance to atone for their past, allowing Jordan and Abby to be freed. After the trial, Abby tries to apologize to Macy and thanks her for her help, but Macy rejects her offer stating, "I did it for Jordan."

However, Abby promises Macy she'll find a way to return her demon powers without interfering with her witch powers. Originally, Macy had to lose her demon powers so she could tap into the Power of Three and interact with the Book of the Elders without being harmed. Her loss of powers was a way to keep her in touch with her witch side, which seemingly wouldn't work while her demon side was activated. Abby's new mission might not redeem her totally, but having Macy regain the massive powers she lost -- evil sight, pyrokinesis, demonic translation and pain resistance -- would be a huge advantage to The Charmed Ones, who after severing ties with the Perfecti need all the help they can get.

Charmed stars Sarah Jeffery, Madeleine Mantock, Melonie Diaz, Rupert Evans, Jordan Donica, Poppy Drayton, Mareya Salazar and JJ Hawkins. The CW show will return on Friday, June 11 at 8:00 p.m. ET/PT.
