The big screen reboot of Charlie's Angels has found its eponymous team and its Bosley.

While details on the new film are currently under wraps, the revival will reportedly see the Charlie's Townshend Agency having expanded around the globe with multiple teams in operation. Tasked by Bosley, who also provides comic relief, the teams travel the world to fight crime.

Stewart had been the first actor officially cast for the production last year while Scott joins the project as Disney's live-action Aladdin adaptation wraps principal photography. This is the first major Hollywood production for Balinska who has been an up and coming actor on British television.

"Charlie’s Angels, for me, is one of the original brands to celebrate the empowered woman since its debut in the 70s. This film honors the legacy of Charles Townsend and his agency while introducing a new era of modern and global Angels," explained Banks in an interview with The Wrap. "I couldn’t be more excited to work with Kristen, Naomi and Ella to bring this chapter to fans around the world.”

Produced, co-written, and directed by Elizabeth Banks, Charlie's Angels stars Kristen Stewart, Naomi Scott, and Ella Balinska with Banks also appearing as Bosley. It is scheduled to be released on September 27, 2019.
