Daredevil star Charlie Cox admits he would love to join forces with Tom Holland's Spider-Man in the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

Speaking during a Q&A at Las Vegas Comic Con, the actor told the audience he'd jump at the chance for Daredevil to some day join forces with the wall-crawler -- although he emphasized that's merely a wish, and not a hint at an MCU crossover.

“I have to be really careful here, ” admitted Cox. “I mean, I’m sure I can say this. And I’ll just preface it by saying that I can’t see how this would happen. Maybe it will, maybe it won’t. But I have no information to suggest that this would ever happen. But it’d be really cool to see …I’d love to do something with Spider-Man.”

Of course, Cox's Daredevil teamed up last year with Krysten Ritter's Jessica Jones, Mike Colter's Luke Cage and Finn Jones' Danny Rand for Netflix's The Defenders. Holland's Spider-Man is also no stranger to crossovers, having been introduced in Captain America: Civil War ahead of the debut of Spider-Man: Homecoming (with Robert Downey Jr. as Tony Stark). He returned this year to fight alongside Iron Man, Doctor Strange and the Guardians of the Galaxy in Avengers: Infinity War.

Marvel Studios President Kevin Feige has already shot down rumors that Daredevil will appear in the Black Widow movie.

Directed by Jon Watts, Spider-Man: Far From Home stars Tom Holland as Peter Parker, the friendly neighborhood Spider-Man. It is scheduled to be released on July 5, 2019. Daredevil Season 3 is expected to be released on Netflix later this year.
