She-Hulk: Attorney at Law guest star Charlie Cox has some advice for Marvel trolls who are unhappy with the direction the Disney+ series took with both She-Hulk and his character Daredevil: "Watch something else."

In an interview with Digital Spy, Cox responded to the fan backlash against the Marvel Cinematic Universe series, saying, "You can't please all the people all the time. If She-Hulk’s not your thing, then don’t watch it. Watch something else." Cox reprised his role as Matt Murdock/Daredevil from previous Marvel projects for She-Hulk, appearing in the last two episodes of the first season.

Cox actually appeared on one of the She-Hulk episodes that specifically targeted the show's trolls. In the eighth episode, "Ribbit and Rip It," instead of the usual "Previously on She-Hulk" voiceover, Tatiana Maslany's Jennifer Walters kicked off the episode stating, "Previously on my show." The recap then addressed everything the trolls had so far gone after from the twerking mid-credits scene to the lack of Daredevil to the Jade Giantess not acting comics-accurate. She-Hulk also responded to the show's more vocal critics in its third and sixth episodes.

Is She-Hulk Season 2 Happening?

Although She-Hulk ended its first season with a few dangling plot threads, Marvel Studios has not yet officially renewed the series for a second season. Despite the lack of renewal, series head writer Jessica Gao has revealed that she knows where to take the Jade Giantess next. "Honestly, even when I pitched the show, I already had an idea of where I would want it to go for another season and what the premise of that season would be. From the beginning, I had ideas of where it would go," she said in August 2022. " There are a lot of things that we just couldn’t get to, or had to cut from the first season, and it would be really nice for those things to see the light of day again."

As for Cox, he is expected to return as The Man Without Fear in the Hawkeye spinoff series Echo before headlining Daredevil: Born Again, an upcoming Disney+ series that will serve as a spiritual successor to Netflix's Daredevil series. The first season will consist of 18 episodes with production scheduled to start in February 2023. Joining Cox in Born Again is Vincent D’Onofrio, who will be reprising his MCU role as Wilson Fisk/Kingpin.

She-Hulk: Attorney at Law is available to stream in its entirety on Disney+. Daredevil: Born Again is scheduled to premiere on Disney+ in early 2024.
