Channing Tatum May Saddle Up For Quentin Tarantino's 'The Hateful Eight'

Channing Tatum might be getting fitted for a cowboy hat, as Deadline reports the 21 Jump Street and G.I. Joe: Retaliation actor is in talks to join Quentin Tarantino's Western The Hateful Eight.

The film focuses on a group of people trapped in a Wyoming saloon as a huge snow storm buries them inside. The players include two bounty hunters, a runaway Confederate soldier and a captured female criminal. Tatum would join Samuel L Jackson, Tim Roth, Jennifer Jason Leigh, Michael Madsen and Bruce Dern in the film, which is expected to begin shooting in January.

Tatum, whose next film Foxcatcher opens next week, is now officially attached to Fox's Gambit.
