Southern gentleman Agent Tequila, played by Channing Tatum, makes a smooth entrance in an introductory clip from the upcoming spy sequel, Kingsman: The Golden Circle.
Presented as the cocky member of the Statesmen, much like Eggsy is to the Kingsman organization, Tatum's Tequila lives up to his reputation in the clip, which finds him catching Eggsy and Merlin attempting to break into the Statesmen's establishment.
With their headquarters destroyed and the world held hostage, members of Kingsman find new allies when they discover a spy organization in the United States known as Statesman. In an adventure that tests their strength and wits, the elite secret agents from both sides of the pond band together to battle a ruthless enemy and save the day, something that's becoming a bit of a habit for Eggsy.
Debuting in theaters on Sept. 22, Kingsman: The Golden Circle is a production of Marv Films directed by Matthew Vaughn and starring. Colin Firth, Julianne Moore, Taron Egerton, Mark Strong, Halle Berry, Elton John, Channing Tatum and Jeff Bridges.
Kingsman: The Secret Service and its upcoming sequel are adaptations of a comic book series called The Secret Service by Mark Millar and Dave Gibbons.
