*UPDATED*

A new piece of Champions artwork by Sean Izaakse has been released by Marvel Comics, featuring Ms. Marvel as a master of the mystic arts. The same wording from the earlier Amadeus Cho teaser is found, citing Champions #25 as the issue where fans will discover what has caused these changes in the young superheroes.

Kamala Khan is displayed wearing a red cloak and conjuring a magical spell with her open hands, which is something not normally found in the Inhuman's powerset. Is she the new Sorcerer Supreme, or has Ms. Marvel taken on a new hobby in the Marvel Universe.

Marvel Comics has released a new piece of artwork that puts a new spin on the former Totally Awesome Hulk, Amadeus Cho. After choosing the new codename Brawn, Champions #25 will feature Amadeus sporting a more warrior look with dreads, snarling sharp teeth, tattoos, jewelry and an oversized sledgehammer.

The final arc of Totally Awesome Hulk saw Amadeus fighting an internal battle against a raging Hulk who sought to become the dominant personality by trapping Amadeus in a figurative car trunk. With the help of his friends Spider-Man (Miles Morales), Ms. Marvel, Black Panther, former S.H.I.E.L.D. Agent Jake Oh and Jimmy Woo, Amadeus is able to tame the beast inside, leading to the unveiling of a new suit and name change to Brawn in Champions #22.

The image from Sean Izaakse is listed for Champions #25 in October, with the captions, "Change the World" and "Weird."

On first glance, a person couldn't be faulted for believing this could be the Hulk's son from Planet Hulk, Skaar. He definitely fits the description of a bruising, young green Hulk. However, with the file name clearly labeled "Amadeus" and the tease of more information coming in Champions #25, all further speculation is put to rest.

However, what we can do is speculate on what exactly provokes these changes in Amadeus Cho. With Jim Zub as the writer of Champions, he could look to bring his sword and sorcery background from such books as the Image Comics title Skullkickers with artist Edwin Huang and Dungeons & Dragons from IDW Publishing to Marvel Comics.

Another thought is perhaps what we're seeing is reality being rewritten before our very eyes. There are various villains throughout the Marvel Universe with the power to change reality with just a thought, such as the X-Men foe, Kulan Gath. Marvel also regained the rights to publish Conan comics in 2019, so this could be an opportunity to get a head start by introducing barbarian takes on established characters to drum up interest ahead of Conan's big debut.

The most likely scenario is this new Goblin Hulk is a byproduct of the upcoming Infinity Wars event, which has already revealed mash-ups of Marvel heroes in the Infinity Warps spinoffs and one-shots.

The possibilities are endless, but as the teaser says, we will find out more in October, and even sooner, as Marvel's October 2018 solicitations are scheduled to be released this week.
