With the buzz around Marvel's upcoming Disney+ series steadily increasing, Black Panther star Chadwick Boseman was asked which of his Avengers co-stars he would want to team up with for an adventure on the small screen.

"I wouldn't, because I don't want to do a TV show," he said, adding that he has other things he's excited about doing and "none of those are franchises."

In discussing the Black Panther 2, Boseman noted he's interested in exploring the setting and finding out new things about his particular section of the MCU, as long as the foundation that was established in the first film is honored.

The Black Panther sequel was officially announced at SDCC in July and is currently in development. Ryan Coogler is returning as writer and director of Black Panther 2, with Chadwick Boseman, Letitia Wright, Danai Gurira and Martin Freeman all reprising their roles from the first movie. The film releases May 6, 2022.
