Now the grading company CGC is throwing their hat into a wider ring, and is now offering to grade and seal collectable trading cards for games such as Magic: The Gathering and the Pokemon: Trading Card Game, This is in addition to its usual business of grading comic books.

CGC's new Trading Card division boasts the industry standard 10-point scale with high accuracy, using the best technology available to inspect and verify a card's condition. They also store their graded cards in a sturdy and safe card holder with high visual clarity, allowing for easy display and storage.

CGC Trading Cards is starting it's certification fee at only $8 USD a card, with additional fees applying for shipping among other factors. The company describes its service as cost-effective with industry leading turnaround times. Whether it chooses to expand its horizon beyond Magic and Pokemon to other popular card games such as Yu-Gi-Oh! currently remains to be seen.
