Cerone Releases "Constantine" Season 1 Episode 14 Script Online

Shortly before the character's arrival on "Arrow," "Constantine" executive producer Daniel Cerone released the script for what would have been "Constantine" season one episode fourteen. Cerone hosted a brief Twitter campaign in order to drum up interest in the upcoming episode of "Arrow," promising he would release the script if he got 2,000 retweets. He made good on that promise after the Tweet received over 3,000 retweets.

That was fast. As promised, my draft for what would've been Ep 14 of #Constantine. #Hellblazers #ConstantineOnArrow https://t.co/Tbqy7xikGA

Titled "Haunted," the "Arrow" episode guest stars Matt Ryan as John Constantine, who arrives in Star City at Oliver Queen's behest. Oliver cashes in on a favor in order to save Sara Lance, who was resurrected by the Lazarus Pit at her sister Laurel's request. Constantine must work some dark magic in order to save Sara's soul as well as the people who might have gotten in her way. You can check out a trailer for the episode here.

Premiering last October with 4.28 million viewers, "Constantine" boasted a vocal fanbase and decent reviews, but wasn't able to find an audience on Friday nights (the fabled "death slot"). The series, based on the DC Comics/Vertigo antihero John Constantine, wasn't among the network's initial early renewals and there was talk that it would move to NBC's sister network Syfy. However, such efforts fell through and the show was ultimately cancelled, ending the show after a 13-episode run.

"Arrow" star Stephen Amell was vocal about his desire to work with Ryan during the #SaveConstantine campaign, and executive producer Wendy Mericle fueled the fire when she revealed that the "Arrow" team had been talking about a potential crossover with DC Entertainment. These efforts did pay off and Constantine's "Arrow" debut was confirmed in August.

Starring Stephen Amell, David Ramsey and Emily Bett Rickards, "Arrow" season four is scheduled to debut Wednesday, Oct. 7 at 8 pm EST on The CW.
