In a new clip from Season 3 of Central Park, shared exclusively with CBR, Owen is willing to try anything to get ahold of a hard drive full of family memories.

The scene, which comes from the next episode of the animated Apple TV+ musical series, shows Leslie Odom Jr.'s park manager Owen Tillerman pacing around his kitchen, on the phone attempting to jog the memory of his colleague who has forgotten the password needed to retrieve the data on the missing hard drive. Owen's suggestion to smell things until the memory is triggered fails, and his wife Paige, voiced by Kathryn Hahn, comes home to the news that the first chapter of her novel may be gone forever. Meanwhile, Josh Gad's narrator Birdie lurks outside to inform the audience of what he thinks is going on.

Central Park comes from the makers of the much-loved animated sitcom Bob's Burgers, and has been embraced by fans and critics since its first season premiered on Apple TV+ in May 2020. The show was nominated for an Emmy Award and for the NAACP Image Award, and was renewed for a third season before Season 2 dropped in June 2021.

The show centers on the Tillerman family, who live in New York City's historic Central Park as the father Owen works as the park's caretaker. The day-to-day struggles of the Tillermans and their friends, family and local antagonists are punctuated by Broadway-style musical numbers performed by the voice cast, many of whom are famed singers in their own right. Season 3 has dabbled in new musical genres as well, such as old-school hip-hop and arena-rock power ballads.

The third season has introduced new characters, including Sam Richardson as the interim mayor, Ken Marino as the producer of the Tillermans' favorite cop show and What We Do in the Shadows' Mark Proksch as a photographer whose agenda isn't entirely clear.

Written and executive produced by Loren Bouchard, Josh Gad and Nora Smith with Halsted Sullivan, Sanjay Shah and Janelle Momary-Neely as additional executive producers, Central Park stars Titus Burgess, Daveed Diggs, Josh Gad, Kathryn Hahn, Leslie Odom Jr. and Stanley Tucci.

The first three episodes of the show's third season premiered on Friday, Sept. 9, with subsequent episodes airing each Friday. Central Park is available to stream now on Apple TV+.
