'Central Intelligence' Recruits Dwayne Johnson and Kevin Hart

Dwayne Johnson and Kevin Hart will team up for Central Intelligence, a buddy action comedy from New Line, Variety reports.

Hart will play a former jock turned accountant who's contacted by Johnson's bullied geek turned CIA assassin before their high school reunion. The two join forces up to stop leaked military secrets from going on the black market.

Rawson Marshall Thurber, who directed Dodgeball and We're the Millers, is on board to helm the comedy. Ike Barinholtz and Dave Stassen (The Mindy Project) penned the first draft, which was rewritten by We're the Millers scribes Sean Anders and John Morris. It will get a pass by Thurber as well.
