CCI: del Toro's "Strain" Coming to Dark Horse Comics?

Dark Horse today released a third and final teaser image for a project the publisher promises to announce later this week. Following up on two previous images, today's teaser features what appears to be a stylized version of the biohazard symbol. Aside from the now-familiar promise of answers during Comic-Con International in San Diego, the image is accompanied only by the name "del Toro." The image file itself, however, contained the word "STRAIN," which is the title of Guillermo del Toro's popular modern vampire novel trilogy, co-written with Chuck Hogan.

While no further information about the project (or projects) accompanied the teasers, all promise that Dark Horse will reveal details at next week's Comic-Con International in San Diego preview night at 7:30 PM in the publisher's booth (#2615).

Stay tuned to CBR in the coming weeks and throughout CCI 2011 for details on all of Dark Horse's announcements and revelations.
