Set phasers to uncontainable excitement: CBS Studios unveiled the first official teaser trailer for the upcoming "Star Trek" TV revival, in addition to the official logo.

The teaser indicates that the upcoming series -- which is rumored to take place between "Star Trek VI: The Undiscovered Country" and "Star Trek: The Next Generation's" "Encounter at Farpoint" -- will include: "New Crews. New Villains. New Heroes. New Worlds."

The new "Star Trek" show is set to debut on CBS in January 2017, and continue to release episode on a weekly basis on the CBS All Access online streaming platform. Production on the series begins this fall in Toronto.
