With “Supergirl” making its debut later this month, CBS’ latest promotional effort stresses the inspirational aspect of the series by asking viewers to name the “Supergirl” in their own lives, in the newly launched “My Supergirl Is” campaign.
Those interested can submit their pick for a particularly influential or inspirational woman in their lives on the My Supergirl Is website, which generates a social media-friendly shareable image, similar to the “Straight Outta…” campaign for “Straight Outta Compton.”
Based on the long-running DC Comics character, “Supergirl” is scheduled to debut Monday, Oct. 26 on CBS.
