Star Trek: Discovery has been renewed for Season 4 by CBS All Access.

In a short video clip, stars Sonequa Martin-Green, Doug Jones and executive producers/showrunners Alex Kurtzman and Michelle Paradise announced production on Season 4 will begin Nov. 2.

After making the jump in the second season finale, season three of "Star Trek: Discovery" finds the U.S.S. Discovery crew dropping out of the wormhole and into an unknown future far from the home they once knew. Now living in a time filled with uncertainty, the U.S.S. Discovery crew, along with the help of some new friends, must together fight to regain a hopeful future.

Star Trek: Discovery stars Sonequa Martin-Green as Commander Michael Burnham, Doug Jones as Captain Saru, Anthony Rapp as Lt. Commander Paul Stamets, Mary Wiseman as Ensign Sylvia Tilly, Wilson Cruz as Dr. Hugh Culber, Blu del Barrio as Adira, David Ajala as Cleveland “Book” Booker and Michelle Yeoh as Philippa Georgiou. Season 3 of the series is currently streaming on CBS All Access every Thursday through Jan. 7, 2021.
