CBR TV @ CCI 2013: "Lone Wolf & Cub's" Kazuo Koike Talks Legacy & American TV

Kazuo Koike, creator of the legendary manga series "Lone Wolf and Cub," visited with CBR TV and Jonah Weiland at Comic-Con International 2013 to discuss the series' legacy and future. They talk about what its embrace by American audiences means to the Japanese creator after so many years, and how in turn he's been inspired by American works. The writer talks about his love of current TV dramas like "24" and "Supernatural" and how they have influenced his own work. He also opens up about what keeps him inspired to keep working on this and other stories after so many years -- including sharing a Buddhist prayer he recites every morning -- and what the future holds for "Lone Wolf and Cub."
