"I'm just so happy to recreate such a fashion-comic book masterpiece! Selina is still my fav!!<3" Floro tweeted after her initial post went viral, including retweets from the current Batman creative team of writer Tom King and artist Joëlle Jones.
The wedding dress was first officially revealed in the pages of the recently released Batman #44 and was designed by artist Joëlle Jones. Jones announced at the Chicago Comics & Entertainment Expo that she would be launching a ongoing Catwoman series by DC Comics this July as both writer and artist, with Laura Allred as the series' colorist.
Additionally, the Eisner-nominated Jones has taken over the DC Cover Girls statue line earlier this year and announced at C2E2 that a Catwoman statue she has personally designed will be released through the line this November.
Catwoman #1 and Batman #50 both arrive in stores July 4 from DC Comics. The DC Cover Girls Catwoman statue by Joëlle Jones is available for preorder beginning April 16.
