DC Comics confirmed to CBR that Catwoman's creative team will be reuniting in March 2021 for more Alleytown adventures, following the events of DC's Future State.
Catwoman will join the ranks of titles returning post-Future State, Justice League Dark, Swamp Thing and The Suicide Squad. Ram V will write Justice League Dark and Swamp Thing while continuing his run on Catwoman alongside artist Fernando Blanco.
In anticipation of Selina Kyle's next foe to beat in Alleytown, DC Comics shared with CBR an exclusive first look at #29's cover, created by Joëlle Jones.
#29 will pick up from where #28 last left Selina Kyle -- on the tips of her claws with many lining up to kill her -- setting up the outnumbered Cat to solicit help from an unlikely ally in Gotham... DC Future State is a two-month, line-wide event beginning in January 2021. The event will be comprised of a combination of monthly and twice-monthly oversized anthologies, as well as monthly miniseries and one-shots starring both new and familiar DC heroes.
Future State: Catwoman begins on January 19, 2021, written by Catwoman's Ram V and illustrated by Otto Schmidt. Similar to previously announced Future State titles, Catwoman will lend her claws to help defeat the Magistrate in Gotham City after vigilantism is outlawed. Now under constant surveillance and post-death of Batman, Catwoman will join The Next Batman's team to defeat the tyrannical regime that threatens Gotham's freedom.
