There have been many different forms of Catwoman to grace both the big screen as well as the pages of comics, giving cosplayers a great deal of material to work with. Surprisingly, none of the big screen versions have been the same. Anne Hathaway was more sultry in her take during Dark Knight Rises, while Michelle Pfeiffer was pure vengeance incarnate.RELATED: Batman: 10 Things Fans Should Know About CatwomanThat doesn't even include all the different outfits from her 40 plus years in comics, including the grey spandex, as well as the purple version. Then, of course, there's the leather catsuit that has now become tied with the character. No matter which outfit you prefer, there's no denying that these are all cosplay even Selina would approve of.

10 The Pfeiffer

This is a look and character that doesn't quite get the love it deserves. Is it different from the standard Catwoman attire? Slightly, yes, but the stitching along the suit and mask are perfect for this take on the character. She's broken and trying to put herself back together. Catwoman is her way of doing that.

It's why we are glad Amy Nicole decided to pay homage to it. Her paleness and ultra pointy claws nails down the look made famous by Michelle Pfeiffer in Batman Returns. Those sharp claws are the coolest part of it, a detail that fits perfectly for that take on the character.

9 Kitty Has Claws

Ouch is the only thing you can think of when seeing the claws on Anastasiya Yur'eva's cosplay. Not only are they as sharp as razors, but they are also three-pronged. Anyone who dared to get in a scrap with her isn't going to look the same. They'd be lucky if they didn't end up like Punisher villain Jigsaw.

The rest of the cosplay is equally as good, close up view showing how wild the stitching of the leather is, playing into how untamed the character was once she put on the costume. The heavy eye shadow and dark red lipstick really work well with the black leather and her paler complexion as well.

8 Skyline

This looks like something out of the Arkham series, especially with the spray-painted question mark to her right. Anyone who's played the game remembers trying to find all those infernal collectibles. Those annoyances aside, it's a great cosplay by Manju for several reasons, chief among them being the whip. Anytime you can include that in a Catwoman cosplay, you get instant bonus points. The tactical belt along her waist is another bonus, something any burglar would need. You can't expect to slip out of a diamond heist unharmed without a few tools at your disposal.

7 Dark Knight Rises

Initially, Anne Hathaway's version of the character wasn't met with extreme warmth, nor was the movie at large. That's cooled on both fronts now, many appreciating both for what they are. While her outfit isn't nearly as iconic as Pheiffer's is, it still fits the character and has an appeal to it. The way they worked in the cat ears was rather clever.

When scrolling past this, we had to do a double-take because of how similar LittleSherbie looks like Anne from a distance. She has fair skin and ruby red lipstick that matches perfectly with the character. Her mask and ear set looks like it was taken directly off the set of the movie, quality is that good.

6 Money Bags

Surprisingly, very few Catwoman cosplay photos incorporate the fact she's a thief into them. Occasionally you'll get the odd necklace, but it is never made a focal point. Jennifer decided to put it front and center via the old school money bag, harkening back a bit to the Adam West show, despite a more new-age costume. We have to agree with her as well, the matte look of the leather works very well for Catwoman, especially with how they decided to make the headpiece. Both have a more dulled look that matches, the shiny look of latex would have clashed far too much.

5 Meow

You know you've done a phenomenal job with your cosplay when an artist is inspired enough to make fan art of it. That's the case with M-Mellu, who knocked her cosplay out of the park. She's a spitting image of Catwoman, right down to the goggles being the right shade of red.

Some may dislike the recent turn of her costumes having a needless cleavage window (most notably Arkham), and they are right in saying it is just a way to sexualize the character. That said, Catwoman hasn't been above using her sexuality before, so it's not wildly out of character. Either way, Mellu could pass for a carbon copy of the character with this look.

4 Purple Power

Very few ever go for the purple look, possibly because it's never been her strongest one. There's no doubt that Purple looks good on Selina, as it does here with Nerdysiren, but it's hard to picture a burglar being able to steal too often when they are walking around in such a flashy suit. Purple tends to stand out far more than black does, after all.

That aside, Nerdysiren did a really good job here. It matches what she wore in the comics, knowing enough to forgo the goggles and just wear a standard mask. Her claws are practical, and most of all, she has the flowing black hair that Selina did back then. This wouldn't have looked nearly as good with a shorter hairdo.

3 Greyed Out

Batman The Animated Series is beloved by just about everyone who watched it. Even by today's standards, it's one of the best, ranking up there with Young Justice and Teen Titans as far as high-quality superhero cartoons go. There's a good reason for that too, its character work was great. Catwoman was no exception to that, even if her costume was far less flashy. That doesn't mean it isn't great to see in the flesh though. The simple grey and black works so well together, especially with those fuzzy-looking ears. It's awesome that Robin included a shot where it looks like she's licking her paw as well. It's a tidbit of the character that could often be cheesy but worked well in the show.

2 Loving Couple

Even if their marriage was called off in the comics, Catwoman and Batman are always going to love each other, being a far better couple than anyone else Bruce could find. That care is shown off here by FaerieBlossom who is Catwoman, and Ironmark who is Batman. The way she has her whip wrapped around him is perfect since she's always going to cast a spell over him, no matter how much distance they may put between each other. The difference in their figure is very striking as well, Catwoman being very slender and petite, while Batman is Ben Affleck levels of jacked. It's the perfect contrast to who they are as characters, a fact that works really well in this photo.

1 Purrrfect

This is outstanding work by Agflower, bringing every facet of the character into one picture. First off, you have a cosplay that keeps it simple, sticking to just the catsuit and foregoing the headpiece. It's a smart call considering how much like Selina she looks, from her face to her hair. You could see her scaling the rooftops of Gotham at night.

It's the props that set this apart, especially the cat. Adding in Selina's true best friend adds so much to the photo, even if the poor kitty looks scared to death. The pearls strung out across the ground are a cherry on the top, hinting at the gains of last night's score.
