This April, Catwoman celebrates the 80th anniversary of her debut in 1940's Batman #1 by Bill Finger and Bob Kane. To commemorate the milestone, DC Comics is putting out Catwoman 80th Anniversary 100-Page Super Spectacular #1, bringing together a whole host of superstar comic book creators, including ones that have worked with the character in the past.

Among the creative teams coming together to craft new short stories celebrating the character's history are Ed Brubaker and Cameron Stewart. Brubaker -- in his first major work for DC since 2006 -- worked with Stewart and the late Darwyn Cooke on a universally acclaimed run on the Catwoman solo comic book series. DC has released an early preview of the short, along with one of the special's covers by current Catwoman series writer and artist Joëlle Jones.

In addition to Brubaker and Stewart's story, the special will see tales and original tribute artwork from Paul Dini, Tom King, Mikel Janin, Ann Nocenti, Adam Hughes, Will Pfeiffer, Steve Rude, Tula Lotay, Emanuela Lupacchino, Mindy Newell, Jim Balent and many more.

Similar to previous anniversary specials for Superman, Batman and Wonder Woman, the Catwoman anniversary special will have a line of variant covers reflecting the character's appearance and history in each decade. Adam Hughes will illustrate the 1940s variant, Travis Charest will render the 1950s, J. Scott Campbell takes the 1960s, Frank Cho will illustrate the 1970s, Stanley "Artgerm" Lau will revisit the 1980s, Gabriele Dell'Otto illustrates the 1990s, Jim Lee and longtime collaborator Scott Williams reunite for the 2000s and Jeehyung Lee will craft the 2010s variant.

Catwoman 80th Anniversary 100-Page Super Spectacular #1 is written and illustrated by a whole host of superstar comic book creators. It goes on sale April 15 from DC Comics.
