The J.J. Abrams-produced Hulu drama based on Stephen King's works will premiere next month at Comic-Con International in San Diego.
The Castle Rock panel will have more than a exclusive trailer or cast discussion about the upcoming drama: It will feature the world premiere of Castle Rock, with a screening of the pilot. The presentation will also include appearances by cast, with stars Sissy Spacek, Bill Skarsgard, and Melanie Lynskey expected to appear
That's not the only presence for the series Hulu has planned at the convention. An immersive pavilion dedicated to King's career and legacy will be set up by the Hard Rock Cafe Hotel, giving fans a chance to participate in an interactive experience tied to the prolific writer's work.
Set in the fictitious Castle Rock, Maine, a staple of the narrative universe designed by King the series will explore the personal stories and motivations of characters who live in the seemingly cursed town. Created by Sam Shaw and Dustin Thomason and executive produced by Abrams, the supernatural thriller stars Andre Holland, Bill Skarsgard, Melanie Lynskey, Scott Glenn, Sissy Spacek, Jane Levy and Terry O'Quinn.
Comic-Con International runs from July 19 to July 22, which means attendees will get a little bit of a jump start on the rest of the world, as Castle Rock debuts July 25 on Hulu.
