Project Casting has release a notice that fans of Hayley Atwell's Agent Peggy Carter may find particularly interesting: It calls for an actress to serve as a stand-in for Atwell on the currently filming Ant-Man, thus confirming Latino Review's previous hunch that the founding S.H.I.E.L.D. agent would show up in Marvel's next solo hero outing. The casting notice reads:

NLC is searching for an experienced stand in for Haley Attwell. She is 31, 5’7″, 112 lbs. This will work in November on a Sunday. Please submit to nlcstandin@gmail.com with your headshot, age, height, weight and sizes. Must have experience. Thanks.

Atwell's Agent Carter has become an essential character for Marvel Studios in its depictions of the early days of the Marvel Cinematic Universe. The character first appeared in 2011's Captain America: The First Avenger, and in 2013 starred in the short film Agent Carter, included on the Iron Man 3 Blu-ray.

ABC then signed on to produce the 1940s-set miniseries Agent Carter, which will debut in January. In the meantime, Atwell popped up as Carter on the Season 2 premiere of Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. and will return to the series in the Nov. 18 episode.

The addition of Carter to Ant-Man implies that we might just get to see a young Hank Pym in action. Michael Douglas plays an older version of Hank Pym in the modern day parts of Ant-Man, with Paul Rudd's Scott Lang acting as the modern day version of the titular diminutive hero.

Ant-Man opens July 17, 2015.
