On its Japanese YouTube channel, Disney debuted the international trailer for "Tomorrowland."
In the film, Casey Newton (Britt Robertson) hunts Frank Walker (George Clooney) down so that she can find a bright, alien world after she discovers a special pin, only to find herself hunted down by enemies willing to kill. Filled with advanced technology, explosions and several new characters, the trailer offers a first real look at the plot of the film. The trailer, though subtitled in Japanese, features English-speaking characters.
Written by Bird and Damon Lindelof and based on a story by Lindelof, Bird and Jeff Jensen, "Tomorrowland" also stars Hugh Laurie, Raffey Cassidy, Tim McGraw, Judy Greer, Kathryn Hahn, Keegan-Michael Key and Thomas Robinson.
"Tomorrowland" opens on May 22.
