New Look at Carol Danvers' Avengers: Endgame Costume Possibly Revealed

Captain Marvel-Avengers 4

WARNING: The following article contains major spoilers for Captain Marvel, in theaters now.

A piece of concept art found in Captain Marvel's tie-in art book may reveal a detailed look at the new suit Earth's Mightiest Hero will wear when she returns for Marvel Studios' upcoming ensemble film Avengers: Endgame.

This design, a photo of which was posted to the subreddit r/MarvelStudiosSpoilers by user Artifraction, bears a striking resemblance to the suit worn by Brie Larson's Carol Danvers during the mid-credits scene of Captain Marvel, which sees her arriving at the Avengers' headquarters after receiving Nick Fury's distress call from the end of Avengers: Infinity War.

Much like the suit seen during the credits of Captain Marvel, the art book's take on the character's outfit is defined by its sleeker look than the modified Starforce uniform used in the main film, as well as its added details, such as the golden pad-like designs seen on the shoulders.

Additionally, the version in the art book also features the trademark sash that has been a staple in Carol Danvers' superhero costumes since she was Ms. Marvel. In comics, Carol kept the sash when she took up the mantle of Captain Marvel in 2012, so Avengers: Endgame could very well see the character getting a comics-accurate wardrobe upgrade. That being said, there's always a possibility that the costume could go through further tweaks before the film's release.
