WARNING: The following contains spoilers for Carmen Sandiego Season 3, now streaming on Netflix.

Netflix's Carmen Sandiego has just five episodes in its third season, but there's a lot packed in as Carmen tries to evade VILE (Villain's International League of Evil), as well as the authorities in ACME (Agency to Classify and Monitor Evildoers). She continues her mission of stealing from Maelstrom's evil empire to give back to the poor while Roundabout lays a methodical plan for her in London.

Carmen and her troops also pull off a breathtaking heist, which gets Roundabout arrested. However, VILE has a few cards still up its sleeve, so let's look at what a Season 4 could entail, especially as Carmen may be distracted with a more personal project.

Roundabout's Revenge

Roundabout's taken into custody as a traitor, and he's now the disgraced, former Head of the British Secret Service. However, the Cleaners are the ones transporting him, which means they're taking him to the Scottish island he got VILE for their new base. Maelstrom knows Roundabout's one of the smartest villains around, and Carmen barely outwitted him, so he can trust him to secure revenge.

Roundabout has a massive ego, so he will be taking this personally and might be looking to use other corrupt assets, maybe even inside Interpol or ACME, to stop Carmen. Seeing as he's been burned and can no longer exist in public, Roundabout can now fully focus on the scarlet-clad thief and work even closer with the Troll to hack their way around the world. As a master thief, Roundabout will also bring in more stolen goods for the tyrants, keeping Carmen busy.

Mission: Save Gray

Graham (aka Gray) is Carmen's close friend. He has shown a romantic interest in her after he was lobotomized by VILE for failing to bring her in after she betrayed them. The "Black Sheep" recruited him in Season 2, eventually confessing she's a Robin Hood of sorts, but Gray was kept away from Season 3's activities for his own safety.

However, ACME's going to be bringing him in from Australia, using him as bait and possibly interrogating Gray to find Carmen. He was quite the thief, using his electric rods as Crackle, so VILE could do the same. They could also try to kill him since they can't afford to have his mind cracked. Either way, with both parties interested in Gray, it's in his best interest for Carmen to find him and make him part of her official family.

Carmen Sandiego Vs. The Chief

ACME's head, the Chief, was the one who killed Carmen's dad in Argentina decades ago, allowing Shadowsan to take her to VILE, thus beginning her criminal journey. Carmen hacked ACME to corroborate this in Season 2, and since then, the Chief's pursued her more vehemently. She despises Carmen because she believes Carmen spurned an offer to join her and stole incriminating intel, which isn't the case.

Either way, the Chief has Zari working with Agent Devineaux to bring her in, and she's losing patience. Julia already resigned as she felt the Chief was too biased, and now Devineaux is feeling the same, finally realizing Carmen's a force for good. While he needs to pick a side soon, both women are on a collision course, and the Chief may also have other aggressive assets to deploy who won't question her orders.

Where in the World is Carmen Sandiego's Mom

Carmen went to Mexico this season to unsuccessfully find "Vera Cruz," the last known alias her mom had. She does get another clue in the name "Carlotta Valdez," so she'll be resuming that quest. Fans still don't know if the mom's a thief, a villain or someone willing to accept Carmen back into her life. However, Zack, Ivy, Player and Shadowsan are willing to take a chance as they desperately want to reunite them.

Luckily, she'll have even more allies this time with the new thief Sonia, as well as the wrestler Lupe Peligro. However, if VILE gets wind of this search, they could use it to their advantage and manipulate Carmen's emotions. It might give them the edge, as they still have dangerous agents such as Paper Star, Tigress, Flytrap, Spinkick and the handler, Marta Contreras, in Mexico to continue setting traps for the globetrotter.

Starring Gina Rodriguez and Finn Wolfhard, all three seasons of Carmen Sandiego are available to stream on Netflix now.
