Several clips have been spliced together from various Marvel animated projects to recreate the trailer, courtesy of the creative team at Darth Blender, who recently did animated takes on the trailers for Shazam! and Avengers: Infinity War.

This version of the trailer also boasts the score from the live-action trailer, as well as Brie Larson's voice-over. The animated trailer uses footage from shows like Avengers Assemble, Ultimate Spider-Man and Avengers: Earth's Mightiest Heroes to produce a seamless imitation of what directors Anna Boden and Ryan Fleck have planned for Carol when she discovers her destiny as a cosmic superhero.

Just like the parent clip, we see Earth under siege, explosions, spaceships and the Kree invading Earth. We can also see Ronan the Accuser, Nick Fury and Agent Coulson in action as well, which all build to signature elements of the Captain Marvel lore, like Carols' helmet, her mohawk and a fully powered-up Captain Marvel in her blue-and-red costume acting as one of Earth's Mightiest Heroes.

Directed by Anna Boden and Ryan Fleck from a script they wrote with Liz Flahive, Carly Mensch, Meg LeFauve, Nicole Perlman, and Geneva Robertson-Dworet, Captain Marvel stars Brie Larson as Carol Danvers, Samuel L. Jackson as Nick Fury, Jude Law as the leader of Starforce, Clark Gregg as Phil Coulson, Lee Pace as Ronan the Accuser, Djimon Hounsou as Korath the Pursuer, Gemma Chan as Minn-Erva, Ben Mendelsohn as Talos, and Lashana Lynch as Maria Rambeau. The film arrives on March 8, 2019.
