Ben Mendelsohn, who played the Skrull Talos in both Captain Marvel and Spider-Man: Far From Homeshared his thoughts on the notion of the Marvel Cinematic Universe losing Peter Parker to Sony.

"But s*** man. You can’t lose Spider-Man from the Marvel universe. Thankfully, the crisis was averted as Marvel Studios eventually struck a new deal with Sony in September, and a third MCU Spider-Man film is set to release on July 16, 2021.

Mendelsohn will work with Tom Holland again in the upcoming animated film Spies in Disguise, which also stars Will Smith.
