As details for the MCU's latest film, Captain Marvel, start to trickle in, a scene description featuring the eponymous superhero leading her team on a top-secret mission has leaked.

Reports indicate Brie Larson's Carol Danvers will be leading the interplanetary peacekeeping group Starforce on mission to Torfa to rescue a missing spy with their comm devices disrupted by the alien world's atmospheric conditions. Despite the danger, Danvers plunges into action after receiving confirmation to proceed from her mentor played by Jude Law.

Torfa was first created in the pages of June 2014's Captain Marvel #2 (Vol. 8) written by Kelly Sue DeConnick and illustrated by David Lopez. In the comics, the planet had a poisonous environment caused by extensive vibranium mining, affecting refugees seeking safe haven.

Based on the description of Torfa's hazardous atmosphere, it looks like the filmmakers are drawing directly from the recent Captain Marvel comics for inspiration.
