A new promo for the upcoming MCU film posted by Disney President of Marketing Asad Ayaz on Twitter teases the origins of Carol Danvers' rise as a superhero alongside clips of the origins of Iron Man, Captain America and Thor.

"We need heroes like you," declares Nick Fury over the clip as Carol's history as an Air Force pilot and member of the Kree peacekeeping team Starforce are shown.

As Carol boldly takes flight as Captain Marvel far above the Earth, it is immediately clear there is no other MCU hero like this one.
