Though her solo film is only a few months away, the hype surrounding Captain Marvel is impossible to ignore. Today, fans can check out the character's uniform in photos from Brazil Comic Con well in advance of the film's release.
The photos show Carol Danvers' now iconic blue and red uniform in its own display, with a background of multicolored clouds. The larger of the two photos gives viewers a more detailed look at the suit, showing every groove and golden metal piece in the design.
The costume's visit to Brazil has undoubtedly stirred up even more anticipation for the film among Marvel fans. Though Brie Larson herself was not wearing it, fans at least got an opportunity to get a closer look at the costume, and will get to see it and Carol herself in action when Captain Marvel hits theaters next year.
Directed by Anna Boden and Ryan Fleck from a script they wrote with Liz Flahive, Carly Mensch, Meg LeFauve, Nicole Perlman, and Geneva Robertson-Dworet, Captain Marvel stars Brie Larson as Carol Danvers, Samuel L. Jackson as Nick Fury, Jude Law as the commander of Starforce, Clark Gregg as Phil Coulson, Lee Pace as Ronan the Accuser, Djimon Hounsou as Korath the Pursuer, Gemma Chan as Minn-Erva, and Ben Mendelsohn, Lashana Lynch, Algenis Perez Soto, McKenna Grace and Annette Bening in as-yet-undisclosed roles. The film arrives on March 8, 2019.
