As previously reported, the titular character of the upcoming Captain Marvel film will soon make her debut as a Disney amusement park character. The official Disney Parks Blog has now released new information regarding the big, international arrival of Earth's Mightiest Hero, including the announcement of the #HighterFurtherFaster campaign.

According to Disney, guests will first be able to interact with cast members taking on the role of Captain Marvel next week as a part of the Disney Cruise Line's "Marvel Day at Sea" event. Shortly thereafter, the character will begin appearing at Disney California Adventure, Disneyland Paris and the Shanghai Disney Resort.

Moreover, fans will soon be able to "strike their most empowering pose and snap postworthy photos" in front of walls at select Disney locations in the and post them to social media with the hashtag #HigherFurtherFaster. They are also encouraged to share how they live up to that mantra in their own lives.

Additionally, Marvel fans are encouraged to keep an eye out for new exclusive Captain Marvel merchandise, which is available at shopDisney and is expected to land in Disney Store retail locations come February.

Disney will also work with Marvel to put out official tie-in material, such as Marvel Comics' Captain Marvel Prelude. Marvel's console, mobile and PC video games will also have a special month-long in-game Captain Marvel event beginning in February to celebrate the film's release.

Directed by Anna Boden and Ryan Fleck from a script they wrote with Liz Flahive, Carly Mensch, Meg LeFauve, Nicole Perlman and Geneva Robertson-Dworet, Captain Marvel stars Brie Larson as Carol Danvers, Samuel L. Jackson as Nick Fury, Jude Law as the commander of Starforce, Clark Gregg as Phil Coulson, Lee Pace as Ronan the Accuser, Djimon Hounsou as Korath the Pursuer, Gemma Chan as Minn-Erva, and Ben Mendelsohn, Lashana Lynch, Algenis Perez Soto, McKenna Grace and Annette Bening in as-yet-undisclosed roles. The film arrives on March 8, 2019.
