Actress Gemma Chan has updated her Instagram with what could be our first solid glimpse at what her Captain Marvel character Doctor Minerva could look like.

It's a simple photo, featuring Chan sitting in a chair on the Marvel Studios set, her hair cut and coiffed (a dramatic departure since, if you know her from Humans, you'll recall she had long hair). "Thanks for the ride @marvel," she wrote, with hashtags indicating that her time on the film has come to a close. Filming will officially wrap within two weeks.

While we now know what Minerva's hairstyle will be like, there's still the question of if Minerva will be the same Minerva from the Marvel Comics. In the comic books, Minerva is Kree, like Ronan the Accuser (played by Lee Pace, who will also return in this film). However, Chan's picture gives us no indication as to whether the Minerva of the Marvel Cinematic Universe is Kree, or whether she'll appear with blue skin or if she's being played as a human.

Directed by Anna Boden and Ryan Fleck from a script they wrote with Liz Flahive, Carly Mensch, Meg LeFauve, Nicole Perlman and Geneva Robertson-Dworet, Captain Marvel stars Brie Larson as Carol Danvers, Samuel L. Jackson as Nick Fury, Jude Law as Mar-Vell, Clark Gregg as Phil Coulson, Lee Pace as Ronan the Accuser, Djimon Hounsou as Korath the Pursuer, Gemma Chan as Minn-Erva, and Ben Mendelsohn, Lashana Lynch, Algenis Perez Soto, McKenna Grace and Annette Bening in as-yet-undisclosed roles. The film arrives March 8, 2019.
