Captain Marvel Fan Creates Stunning Stained Glass Art

The redditor recently posted a photo of the Captain Marvel logo recreated in stained glass. Though Carol may not be a god like Thor, redditors seem to think the character is just as worthy of worship. “Finally. A Church I would attend,” one redditor responded.

The image, which was posted in the r/Marvel subreddit, has over 4,700 votes and has been 98% upvoted at the time of writing. The piece measures roughly 9” x 11” and, according to the artist, customers may commission similar pieces for purchase. As Beradicus69 explains in the thread, additional pieces and designs, many of which are fandom related, can be viewed and may be available for purchase or commission via Facebook.

The premiere of the highly anticipated Captain Marvel movie is just around the corner. Additionally, the first issue of the new comics series by Kelly Thompson and Carmen Carnero will hit shelves on Wednesday, complete with Carnero’s new costume design.

Directed by Anna Boden and Ryan Fleck from a script they wrote with Liz Flahive, Carly Mensch, Meg LeFauve, Nicole Perlman and Geneva Robertson-Dworet, Captain Marvel stars Brie Larson as Carol Danvers, Samuel L. Jackson as Nick Fury, Jude Law as the commander of Starforce, Clark Gregg as Phil Coulson, Lee Pace as Ronan the Accuser, Djimon Hounsou as Korath the Pursuer, Gemma Chan as Minn-Erva, and Ben Mendelsohn, Lashana Lynch, Algenis Perez Soto, McKenna Grace and Annette Bening in as-yet-undisclosed roles. The film arrives on March 8.
