Actor Brie Larson has shared the first extended clip from Anna Boden and Ryan Fleck's Captain Marvel, and it shows one of the film's high-adrenaline action sequences while also demonstrating Carol Danvers' impressive powers.Larson shared the clip, which she originally premiered during her recent appearance on The Ellen DeGeneres Show, on Twitter. The video shows Danvers in her Kree outfit fighting an unknown man atop a train. Although it's short, the train fight highlights the upcoming MCU movie's balance of impressive choreography and dramatic tension.RELATED: Captain Marvel TV Spot Debuts Another Future Avenger

The man Captain Marvel is chasing appears to be one of the movie's shape-shifting Skrull. The clip concludes as Danvers blasts a hole in the train's roof. She then drops down into the carriage — indicating that this scene might come before the infamous "granny punch" from the first trailer.

Fans also get a better look at the younger versions of Phil Coulson (Clark Gregg) and Nick Fury (Samuel L. Jackson). Both Coulson and Fury veer off to meet Captain Marvel at the station, leaving the spandex-clad hero to fight the Skrull on her own.

Although exactly what will happen in her movie remains to be seen, it's likely that she'll play a critical role in Avengers: Endgame. Marvel Studios President Kevin Feige has already indicated that Captain Marvel is one of the most powerful characters in the MCU, and she's reportedly the "new face" of the franchise in Phase Four.
