Empire Magazine has revealed the subscriber-exclusive cover for its upcoming March 2019 issue, which comes from artist Doaly and features a vibrant depiction of the titular hero of Marvel Studios' next film Captain Marvel.

Looming large on Doaly's cover artwork, the silhouette of Brie Larson's Captain Marvel is filled by a vivid look at the cosmos. At the center of the image, yet another silhouette of the Earth's Mightiest Hero can be seen, radiating light inside the shape of her iconic Hala star symbol.

Regarding the actual contents of the issue, Empire teases "the inside story on the '90s-set adventure, its host of mysterious characters and the indie-film directing duo stepping up to an entirely different level of filmmaking." Plus, "plenty more exciting stuff to be announced in the coming days."

The regular edition of Empire's March issue goes on sale Thursday, Jan. 24.

Directed by Anna Boden and Ryan Fleck from a script they wrote with Liz Flahive, Carly Mensch, Meg LeFauve, Nicole Perlman and Geneva Robertson-Dworet, Captain Marvel stars Brie Larson as Carol Danvers, Samuel L. Jackson as Nick Fury, Jude Law as the commander of Starforce, Clark Gregg as Phil Coulson, Lee Pace as Ronan the Accuser, Djimon Hounsou as Korath the Pursuer, Gemma Chan as Minn-Erva, Ben Mendelsohn as Talos, Lashana Lynch as Maria Rambeau, Algenis Perez Soto as Att-Lass, McKenna Grace as a young Carol Danvers and Annette Bening in an undisclosed role. The film arrives on March 8.
